Zapaygo, the order and payments app, has been named stadium sponsor of the Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club in a lucrative three-year deal. The 5000 capacity stadium is based at Billesley Common.
The deal sees Zapaygo become the exclusive order and pay app for stadium customers across all the club’s hospitality suites. Rugby fans will be able to order and pay from any location via their mobile phone, before that order is delivered to them at their seats or made ready for collection. Customers save time, earn rewards and stay safe while venues improve revenues, efficiency, customer service and maintain social distancing. Zapaygo is a market simplifier, reducing the need for dozens of apps, if you can order it, book it, or pay for it, you can do it with Zapaygo.
Elliot Hall, Founder and CEO of Zapaygo, said: “I am delighted by this partnership with Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club. I have always been a fan of grass-roots and regional sports and so I’m pleased to be working with one of the country’s most community-centric clubs. We have seen how our app can keep people connected and engaged with venues, so as restrictions ease further and stadiums can return to full capacity, I am excited to watch this partnership grow.”
The club’s latest merchandise is also available to purchase, from beanies through to hoodies. In upcoming plans, fans will have the opportunity to buy match tickets and renew season tickets through Zapaygo.
Director of Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club, Robin Johnson, said: “We are thrilled that Zapaygo has become our stadium sponsor. It is an incredible and innovative business, that I know will thrive, especially in the current climate and in light of how consumers’ behaviours have changed.
“We have many plans for the club, and we are delighted that Zapaygo will play a part in building them. We are confident that this will be a beneficial long-term partnership.”
