What a weekend for Birmingham Moseley. Ten sides took to the field across our youth, women’s and senior sections, and whatever the scoreboard said, every one of them wore the shirt with pride. Fielding that many teams in a single weekend is a real measure of the club’s health, and it’s down to the players, coaches, parents and volunteers who give up their time every week to make it happen.
There were some big wins, including a 71-point performance from Oak 2, a strong result for the Oak, and victories for both Colts sides, the U13s and the U16s. The U15s couldn’t be separated from Worcester in a 31-all thriller. There were tougher afternoons for the 1st XV, the Women and one of our U16 sides, but the effort was there, and there’s plenty to build on.
