Birmingham Moseley Rugby are pleased to announce that Rugby League winger/centre, Tuoyo Egodo, has joined the club on a permanent basis.
24 year old, 5ft 10 inch Tuoyo began his career in 2013 at London Broncos, coming through their Academy system. During his time in the Academy he was loaned out to Hemel Stags as part of his development. It was here that he drew the attention of the Castleford Tigers coach and they subsequently signed him for the 2016 season. He scored a hat trick of tries in his Super League debut against Hull FC in 2017.
He quickly gained the reputation of being a prolific try scorer picking up 11 tries in 16 games at Castleford, 4 of which came in two matches against his former club.. This will have helped London Broncos in making their decision to re-sign him for the 2019/20 season.
He went on to become London Broncos leading try scorer in the 2020 season before the pandemic intervened.
Adam Balding, Birmingham Moseley Rugby, Director of Rugby said:
“We are delighted that Tuoyo has decided to choose Birmingham Moseley to switch codes. He has explosive pace and power and is a strong physical ball carrier. I look forward to him bringing the physicality of rugby league to the Common”
